Welcome to the Social Work program at Utah State University. Our program is committed to the resolution of contemporary human social problems, such as poverty, racism, discrimination, and economic injustice. The program seeks to instill in its graduates a deep commitment to the profession's traditional values. We have programs and resources available to all current and prospective students that will allow you to be successful as a student and as a professional. Bachelor of Social Work

The BSW is a professional degree and its basic mission is to train students for employment as beginning, generalist social work practitioners. The program is accredited by the Council on Social work Education (CSWE) and meets requirements established by the State of Utah for certification of social service workers.

Master of Social Work

The MSW program emphasizes the advanced generalist practice knowledge and skills essential to the tasks of promoting social welfare, especially among vulnerable populations, in institutions such as education, health, employment, housing, and criminal justice. The program is dedicated to the development of professional social workers who understand the need to advocate for vulnerable populations.

Women's Voices: Women's Votes

This event kicks off a year-long celebration of the 150th anniversary of Utah Women's Suffrage, the 100th anniversary of National Women's Suffrage; and 55th anniversary of Voting Rights Act. We invite you to read at this open mic event, a short text about women's freedom or voting rights that mean something to you. Day One Fundraiser Concert
