Mental Health Needs of USU Regional Campus Students

This project was a partnership between Utah State University’s Counseling and Psychological Services, Utah State University Statewide Campuses, and USU master of social work students. Students designed a survey and obtained IRB approval to assess the mental health needs of USU’s regional campus students, a currently underserved population. Data was collected, analyzed and reported to key stakeholders who can improve the service delivery for regional campus students. Data was presented to the USU Vice Provost of Statewide Campuses and used in ongoing legislative conversations to expand mental health services to rural, regional campus students.
