Full-time salaried position (35 hours per week). Project Director for The Family Place’s Trauma Program for Families in Northern Utah. This program will provide evidence-based treatment to children ages 0–11 who have experienced or witnessed traumatic events.

 The Family Place is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization striving to achieve its mission of Strengthening Families and Protecting Children in Cache and Rich Counties through 24-hour emergency/respite nursery, education, and counseling services.

 Through the Trauma Program, The Family Place will extend the comprehensive services already   provided by ensuring that all families receive trauma-informed services that target the critical parent-child relationship as a means of intervention to promote young children’s positive outcomes.

Duties Synopsis:

 Program 

  • Participate in the development and ongoing refinement of the trauma treatment program through ongoing training of therapeutic child center staff, home visitors, and parent and child group facilitato
  • Coordinate and participate in all required
  • Ensure the proper implementation of the trauma treatment program with a focus on obtaining short- and long-term goals that target the parent-child relationship and positive child developmental and interactional
  • Ensure compliance with federal funding
  • Assist in all aspects of managing the trauma project including training, monitoring, compliance, and
  • Assist in hiring and training of key staff members for the trauma project to assist in program implementation and work directly with them in problem solving any issues that
  • Supervise all staff members involved with the trauma
  • Streamline program processes and build sustainability for the trauma
  • Complete required reports and maintain staff requirements as specified by licensing/certification requirements across all of The Family Place
  • Manage and coordinate all Community Outreach
  • Establish a systematic ongoing process in building relationships with key community
  • Engage communities, businesses, and citizens and to increase their awareness of the mission, purpose and services at The Family
  • Participate in community events to promote the trauma program and services at The Family P
  • Develop and maintain clients through personal invitation and by addressing individual
  • Work closely with community partners to build a trauma-informed

 Required  qualifications:

 LCSW, Master of Social Work degree, experience supervising staff members, 5 years experience working with victims of trauma, annual passing of a background criminal investigation, and experience facilitating group therapy sessions. Ability to speak Spanish preferred. Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills are critical to the success of this project.

 Salary/Benefits:

 Salary range $45,000-$51,000 plus benefits

 The Uintah Basin is a beautiful rural area near mountains, canyons and rivers and has plenty of outdoor opportunities available within a close distance.  We are located approximately 150 miles east of Salt Lake City, Utah.

 Northeastern Counseling Center is seeking a highly motivated, skilled professional with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work or other related field who will gather social history and provide group education services to a variety of patients including adults, children and families.  Applicant must be able to communicate professionally and effectively both in writing and verbally.  Must be able to follow written and/or verbal instructions. 

 This is a full-time position with an excellent benefit package including retirement, 401(k), term life, health, dental, and vision insurance plus a generous holiday, vacation and sick leave allowance.  The salary is $18.00 hourly for those with a Social Service Worker (SSW) license.  This position may be under-filled with an applicant possessing a bachelor’s degree in a related field and eligible to work towards licensure as an SSW.  Preference will be given to those interested in completing the MSW program.  We are offering a signing bonus to applicants hired in this position.  Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Screening.

 We want to recruit a highly motivated, skilled mental health professional who will provide individual and group outpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment services to a variety of patients including adults, children and families. 

 This is a full-time position with an excellent benefit package including retirement, 401(k), term life, health, dental, and vision insurance plus a generous holiday, vacation and sick leave allowance.  Loan repayment is also available through National Health Service Corps.  The salary is $44,200 annually for LCSW or equivalent and $40,372 annually for CSW or equivalent, with the possibility of earning monthly and annual bonuses.  In addition, we may offer a relocation expense or signing bonus. Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Screening.
